Art Classes

COVID-19 Update: In-person class sizes are 6 students each. Sessions run in 8-week groups to maximize instruction and allow time for completion of projects.

Rissa’s Shooting Stars: Drawing and Painting

Mondays, 5 – 6 p.m.

Classes cost $168 per 8 weeks ($22/week: tuition includes supplies)

Students aim high and reach for the sky! We complete an average of 4 – 5 pieces during the session. Students are offered projects in a variety of drawing media. Our goal is to expose children to all drawing materials and help them learn techniques and styles of the masters! Open to any student grade 1-12.

 

Saturdays, 10 – 11 a.m. (Beginning August 26th)

Rissa’s Supernovas: Advanced Art for Middle/High School

Wednesdays (Beginning September 13th) 6:30 – 7:45 p.m. 75 minute class. $28 per week.

This class is for the mature art student. We will refine technical skills while working on narrative work. Students will engage in artistic reflection and critique.

 

Missed Classes

Tuition is for an 8-week session. Tuition includes the cost of supplies, which will be purchased in advance for registered students. Missed classes are not refunded. With 24-hr notice, students may attend another class as makeup. Students who drop after week 3 are not given refund or credit.
